It’s finally out! Together with Simon Poppinga from Darmstadt Botanic Garden in Germany, Ulrike guest-edited a special issue in Journal of Experimental Botany on the topic of ‘Mechanical Ecology – Taking Biomechanics to the Field’. The issue combines reviews, research and methodology papers and highlights the importance of understanding functional morphology and biomechanics in a meaningful ecological context. Happy reading!
