We look forward to welcoming Nathaniel Kelly who will join us as a postdoctoral research associate in January 2022. Nat has a background in mechanical engineering and fluid mechanics and will work with us on the sticky secretions and slippery surfaces of carnivorous plant traps. His work is part of an ambitious collaborative project aiming to identify and characterise traits of carnivorous plants that may help to improve the pest resistance and yield of crop plants.
