We are super-excited to have been awarded an HFSP Research Grant as part of an international team of applicants led by Kenji Fukushima (University of Würzburg, Germany). The 3-year project will explore new avenues for “Conferring carnivorous plant-like traits by single gene transfers”. It brings together complementary expertise in bioinformatics (Kenji Fukushima), evolutionary biology (Tanya Renner, Penn State University) and biomechanics (our lab).
